In fact, there are very few places that can evoke the atmosphere of the famous series as well as he Emerald Isle, the heart of the Seven Kingdoms. Game of Thrones Routes - Dunluce castle, Antrim Iceland - “Beyond the Wall” In Iceland you will find the majority of the Winterfall scenes. For example, you can follow the steps of Jon Snow in Vatnajökull, which represents the land “Beyond the Wall”. In Grjótagjá you will find the lava cave, you can take a bath on its clear water hot springs, where Jon Snow and Ygritte had their love encounter. In the Vatnajokull National Park you can find the Hofoabrekkuheioi and Svínafellsjokull glaciers where you can actually take a hike, climb and discover their immensity. Game of Thrones Routes - Grjótagjá, Iceland Croatia - “King’s Landing” The filmings of King's Landing have taken place in Dubrovnik. Visit its castles, coasts and steep, cobbled roads with endless stairs and be captivated by this beautiful city. Its shores bathed by the Mediterranean Sea have many fortresses and walls, perfect to recreate the Game of Thrones scenes. It is a very beautiful city and also offers a large number of alternatives. Dubrovnik, Croatia Spain - “The fortress of Dragonstone” This country offers a fascinating variety of settings where the serie was filmed.
