Drinks packages with Royal Caribbean can be added to your cruise booking pre-cruise for an additional cost, but in the long run, they can save you a small fortune compared to paying as you go.
Can two People Use one Drinks Package on a Cruise?
In short, the answer to this is a firm no. If one person in the cabin wants to purchase the drinks package, then everyone sharing the same cabin must also purchase a drinks package, with the exception of this applying to children. You can also purchase once onboard, but you sometimes find the price has a slight increase and on cruises of 2 or 3 nights, the package must be purchased on your first day.

How Much is the Drinks Package on Royal Caribbean?
There are several drinks package options on Royal Caribbean:
Soda Package – this has a cost of $12.99 per person per day.
Royal Refreshment Package – this has a cost of $38 per person per day and includes mocktails, premium teas and coffees, fountain sodas, bottled water, fresh juice, and a souvenir cup.
Deluxe Beverage Package – this has a cost of $56 to $105 per person per day and includes all the above plus cocktails, liquors, spirits, beer, and wine. By the glass.
None of the packages includes mini bar items, Evian water, canned sodas, bottled juice, speciality beers as listed on bar menus, or super premium category beverages.
Is there a daily Drinks limit for Royal Caribbean?
There is no daily drinks limit with the Deluxe Beverage Package.

Can I order 2 Drinks at a time on Royal Caribbean?
Yes, you can when paying as you go, but usually, if you have a drinks package, you can only get 1 drink per person at a time.
How does the ship know if you have a Drinks Package?
For instance, your SeaPass® will have either a sticker or a printed verification of your package. The bar staff will request to see your SeaPass for verification before serving you, so keep it handy.
Can you buy Drinks on a cruise without a Drinks Package?
Absolutely! You’ll simply pay as you go on everything you order. Costs will be added to your onboard account along with the service charge.
