Cunard was founded in 1839 by Samuel Cunard and has a rich history in the maritime industry. Known for its exceptional worldwide and one-of-a-kind transatlantic voyages, Cunard is the epitome of modern luxury combined with traditional ocean sailing.

Cunard places a strong emphasis on luxury, fine dining, and traditional British elegance. The ships feature grand ballrooms, exquisite lounges, and top-notch entertainment, providing passengers with a taste of classic ocean travel combined with modern amenities.

In our blog today, we’re taking a closer look at the cabin and suite options that are available across the Cunard fleet, and what you can expect from your accommodation choice.

Cunard – Queens & Princess Grill Suites

The Queens & Princess Grill suites offer a premium and exclusive dining and accommodation area aboard Cunard’s luxurious ships, including the Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth, Queen Victoria and the soon-to-join Queen Anne.

So, what’s included in the Queens & Princess Grill suites? Well, there is a slight variation between the two, but you can expect a luxurious suite, exclusive and private dining areas, personalised service, priority embarkation and disembarkation, exclusive lounge areas, enhanced amenities, sparkling wine and chocolates on arrival, fresh fruit delivered daily, 24-hour complimentary room service, an elevated Grills afternoon tea experience, in-suite dining option from the Grill Restaurant menu, and so much more.

It’s important to note that the Queens & Princess Grill experiences come at a higher cost compared to other accommodations onboard, reflecting the premium level of service and luxury provided. A level of exclusivity and service that is a hallmark of Cunard’s commitment to truly luxurious ocean travel experiences.

Cunard – Britannia Club Staterooms

Designed to be perfect in form and function, with access to your own outdoor space, each Club Balcony stateroom brings together the best in comfort, convenience, views, and extra touches.

Your Britannia Club Balcony stateroom features a desk, a seating area and king-size bed, plus a spacious balcony with table and chairs for you to relax in the ocean air. Enjoy elevated features such as priority embarkation and disembarkation, complimentary spring water and speciality tea and coffee-making facilities, in addition to signature Cunard touches. You’ll also have access to your very own restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner – Britannia Club restaurant.

These balcony staterooms are beautiful and an ideal choice if you want to splash out on some luxury without meeting the costs of the Grills options.

Cunard – Britannia Staterooms

Down from Britannia Club, you have the Britannia options of balcony, Oceanview or inside. Again, these accommodations are luxurious and well-presented. For solo guests, there is also a selection of single staterooms which are some of the nicest at sea, in our opinion! These are offered as Inside and Oceanview. On Queen Mary 2 there is a dedicated section of one deck that is exclusively home to the ships’ single staterooms and their size and comfort is exceptional.

Whatever option you choose with Cunard, you won’t be disappointed. Remember, if you make a booking and decide you’d prefer to change your stateroom you can call our cruise experts and arrange for an upgraded option.
