Costa Cruises – From the Mediterranean to the UK

Costa Cruises was founded in 1854 and quickly became a key player in the world of cruising. The line operates a fleet of 9 vessels that sail across Europe, the Emirates, the Caribbean and more – that also now included UK itineraries, which we’ll come to later.

Amenities and activities onboard all ships include multiple restaurants and bars, swimming pools, spas, fitness centres, entertainment venues, and children’s programs. Costa Cruises also provides shore excursions at each destination, allowing passengers to explore local sights and attractions.

Costa Cruises has a strong focus on sustainability and has implemented various measures to reduce its environmental impact, such as reducing fuel consumption, using eco-friendly materials, and recycling waste.

Costa Cruises offers a range of ships for Mediterranean sailings, including their newest ship, Costa Smeralda, which offers a unique experience with a design inspired by the beauty of Italy.

Canary Islands

The Canary Islands, which are a Spanish archipelago located off the coast of Africa, are offered on multiple Costa itineraries and are known for their stunning beaches, volcanic landscapes, and warm climate, making them a popular destination for cruisers seeking sun, sand, and relaxation.

Numerous itinerary options are available, and these often take in more than just the Canary Islands. For example, the Canary Islands and Madeira; Spain, Morocco, and the Canary Islands; and the Canary Islands and the Azores.
