Virgin Voyages is the 1st brand to (ever) sweep the Cruise Critic Cruisers’ Choice awards.

This new cruise company recently took home all 5 awards in the large ship category for the Cruise Critic Cruisers’ Choice Awards 2023 — making the line the first in history to do so. For those not familiar, this is like the Oscars for cruise holidays!

From Virgin’s focus on exceptional service to the exclusive signature red hammocks on every balcony, the line is extremely proud of what they have created aboard its lady ships!

Richard Branson’s Virgin Group launched this cruise line in 2020, offering a unique cruising experience targeted towards adults, with an emphasis on wellness, sustainability and fun.

Virgin Voyages Ships

Richard Branson’s cruise line currently operates three ships: Scarlet Lady, Valiant Lady and Resilient Lady, and a 4th one, Brilliant Lady, will join in the future.

Scarlet Lady was the first ship in the fleet and launched in 2020 and designed to accommodate up to 2,770 passengers, offering a range of features and amenities including a large spa, multiple dining venues, a theatre, a nightclub and outdoor spaces such as a pool deck and an athletic club.

Valiant Lady debuted in 2022 and also accommodates up to 2,770 passengers, but she does have some unique differences like a more Mediterranean theme, for example.

All ships within the Virgin Voyages fleet are designed to offer a high level of luxury and comfort, with modern decor and state-of-the-art technology. They also have an emphasis on sustainability, with features like an energy-efficient hull design and a ban on single-use plastics.
