Britain’s favourite cruise line, has a fabulous line up of summer itineraries this year and we’re taking a closer look in our blog today. Whether you want to hit the beaches in Greece, admire breath-taking scenery in Norway, or enjoy the glitz and glamour of Monaco, P&O Cruises has the cruise for you, and we have some great deals.
Azura Fly-cruises
Azura is always a big hit in the summer months, especially for families and couples. She’s large enough to feel spacious, but she’s certainly not a mega-ship. Onboard, you’ll find numerous dining options, bars, public lounges and more – she also has an exclusive adult-only area.
This summer Azura is offering a variety of sailings around the Greek Isles, Italy, Monaco, France, and Croatia. Many of her sailings will be fly-cruises, but there are some that sail directly from the UK – check with our cruise experts for specific dates of her no-fly sailings.
Norway’s Natural Beauty with IONA
IONA is the largest cruise ship ever to be purpose-built for the UK cruise market and since her arrival, she’s left a hugely positive impact on her guests. She’s elegant and exciting, and waiting to take you to one of the most unspoiled destinations on earth, Norway.
Visit ports such as Alesund, Olden, Geiranger and Stavanger, and admire the stunning natural beauty of the Norwegian Fjords as you go. There really are very few places on earth that offer such spectacular scenery and nature opportunities.
Ventura’s Canaries Adventure
Ventura is loved by P&O Cruises guests and it’s easy to see why. She’s packed with wonderful bars, restaurants, and public lounges, and she’s great for all types of cruisers. Family-friendly, spacious and timeless, and this summer she’s offering a variety of no-fly Canary Island cruises from Southampton.
Soak up the delights of Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and La Palma, as you embrace Spanish life. The Canary Islands have always been popular with British cruisers, thanks to their year-round warm temperatures and a wonderful mix of things to see and do.
Arvia is on her way!
In December of this year, Arvia (sister ship to IONA) will join the P&O Cruises fleet and she looks fantastic! With her modern accommodation, incredible SkyDome, numerous dining experiences and activities for the whole family, Arvia really is a ship for everyone.
Arvia will offer a variety of itineraries, including Caribbean fly-cruises and no-fly cruises to the Canaries and into the Mediterranean.
She will also be the cruise line’s second ship to be powered by liquified natural gas (LNG) making her the perfect choice if you’re concerned about the environment.
A World Cruise aboard Arcadia
OK, so we know this isn’t exactly a summer cruise, but we couldn’t resist mentioning Arcadia’s incredible 99-nights world cruise, departing in January 2023. She’ll visit more than 15 countries and make full transits of both the Panama Canal and the Suez Canal. Ports include Montego Bay, Honolulu, Auckland, Sydney, Cairns, Manila, Hong Kong, Singapore, Colombo, and Valetta.
This really is a once-in-a-lifetime trip, and we currently have some great early booking incentives.
