Sail from the UK with Ambassador Cruise Line

There’s a new player in town and they go by Ambassador Cruise Line, the first new British cruise line to be launched since 2010. The line’s purpose is to inspire and delight every guest as they enjoy an authentic cruise experience effortlessly, and sustainably.

Ambience was launched in April of this year, and she’ll soon be joined by Ambition, another small ship that’s geared towards no-fly cruises directly from UK ports.

Meet Ambience

Ambience. Derived from the French word for ‘surrounding’, has a guest capacity of 1,400 and she offers both a feeling of spaciousness and freedom, whilst retaining that sense of intimacy and camaraderie we each crave. A more traditional-style cruise ship with a modern twist.

She offers numerous dining options, including an Alfresco Grill, Buckingham restaurant, Borough Market and Sea & Grass. Onboard you’ll also find a variety of public spaces and lounges, these include the Observatory, Raffles Bar, The Purple Turtle Pub and Botanical Lounge.

Meet Ambition

Ambition will offer onboard accommodations for up to 1,200 guests across 714 cabins, 125 of which have balconies and 113 are suites.

Featuring 2 main dining restaurants, a bistro-style café, a theatre, a library, a casino, a craft studio and numerous lounges and bars, Ambition really will bring that home-from-home feeling to her guests.

She’s already proving popular with those looking for a more traditional yet modern cruise experience, and especially with those that prefer not to fly to join their chosen ship. She’s large enough to feel spacious, but still small enough to allow you to find a quiet corner to relax and unwind, and let’s not forget, small enough to get into some amazing ports that larger ships simply cannot enter.

No-fly cruises from the UK in 2023

Both Ambition and Ambience will be offering a large variety of no-fly cruises from the UK in 2023, with destinations including the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Atlantic Islands, Norwegian Fjords and many more.

You can view our Ambition sailings here and our Ambience sailings here.

For those new to cruising or looking to sample the Ambassador experience, there are a variety of 2-night sailings offered, which are ideal, but for those looking to take their sea legs a little further, there’s also a 120-night World Cruise on Ambience available in 2024.

Ambition’s maiden voyage is still available to book and we currently have some great offers available. This is also an ideal first-cruise choice, as it’s a 6-night itinerary. The Maiden Nordic Voyage leaves Tilbury on March 4, 2023, and visits Kristiansand, Copenhagen and Gothenburg, before arriving back in Tilbury.

The Grand Round World Cruise departs from Tilbury on January 6, 2024, and sails to some incredible destinations, including Barbados, Bora Bora, Rarotonga, Auckland, Melbourne, Singapore, Phuket, Mombasa, Cape Town, Rio de Janeiro, and Casablanca.

Of course, not everyone can be away for 120-nights, so the cruise is also offered in segments. These range from between 40 and 90-nights. You can view all available segments of this cruise on our website.
