Malta

Malta is another country chosen by the producers to film more Game of Thrones scenes. Among the many places you can visit the Puerta de Medina, a very quiet city, with multiple walls and medieval facades that turn it to a special enclave. The same happens with different doors that give the impression of taking you to a new world.
Fort Risacoli, the Azure Window (which collapsed in 2017 due to heavy storms) and the Gardens of the Verdala Palace have also been used to carry out the filming. They are definitely worth visiting, the latter being the summer residence of the President of Malta. Beautiful places that amaze you and that will make you discover Malta with the Game of Thrones lenses on.

We suggest you experience the Route through the Knights of Malta’s Islands I.
